Abstract

“Development expenditure” is the sum of expenditure financed by overseas donors (only in cash), Tonga Trust Fund, and Revolving Funds. Hence, it is not synonymous with “capital expenditure” and it includes a number of items that are classified (according to the GFS format) under “current expenditure.”
