Abstract

GDP growth forecasts for many Asian economies have been revised upward relative to the October 2009 Regional Economic Outlook. For the region as a whole, growth now is forecast to be about 7 percent in 2010, 1¼ percentage points higher than projected in fall 2009, and to grow at the same pace in 2011 (Table 2.1).
